Seasoned Pulled Pork

Pulled Pork (800-900g)

We season pork shoulder pieces with our secret blend of spices and herbs, and leave to marinate for 48 hours. Ready to cook.

Pulled pork is a very tasty, versatile dish that is very easy to make and requires very little preparation. It does take a few hours to cook, but can be cooked well in advance to be reheated later on. 

How To Cook


1 package seasoned pork shoulder

1 – 2 L Braising liquid     Use any kind of stock, apple juice or a combination of both. You can even add some wine or beer if you wish!


Place the meat into a roasting pan and add enough braising liquid to almost cover the meat. (TIP: Use a roasting pan sized to fit the piece of meat to minimise the amount of braising liquid needed.)

Cover and cook in oven at 325oC for 2 – 3 hours. Once the meat will pull apart easily with a fork it is ready.

Take meat out of braising liquid and shred it (pull) with 2 forks. Add back enough braising liquid to the meat to keep it moist.

Serve, or store for reheating later. Discard leftover braising liquid.

This can also be made in the crock pot, but allow a longer time for cooking.
